Opinions on Restarting?

hellooo everyone, aesthetics here, and i need some opinions.

i recently got a 3ds again, so i am playing acnl again thankfully.

i had to get a new cartridge however, so i started a new town

idk if i want to restart it, because now i have ideas to plot reset villagers with paths and get dreamies, but now its too late

i already have some hybrid flowers and like nothing else, what should i do?

Option #1: You can always move out your current villagers with Amiibos. It's never too late.

Option #2: Have someone hold your items and restart your town. I can hold your items (hybrids, bells, etc.) on my beach/in storage if you restart. We can negotiate in PMs.

You can always do the 2nd option without amiibos... :"D

I don't know if I would consider it too late. You can still move out your villagers without amiibos, either through normal play or time travel. If you really like your town, I'd suggest keeping it and working around the villagers you currently have until you get them to move.

But since you also said you don't really have much yet, if you really want to reset then now is probably the best time to do it, before you get too deep into the game.

You could also have people hold your villagers for you.

I agree with LadyDestani. If you think you would be much happier restarting, then go ahead, rather than regretting not doing so later on!

I'm with Desanti on this one, one other thing I'd consider when deciding to reset is how attached you are to your villagers/town. Though, you don't seem to have any of your preferred villagers?

Yah ive reset and all but it wasnt really worth it because you have to do everything over again!

Could you post your map and how do you want to plan your villagers? All together in a row, in groups of 4 like little neighborhoods, ect...?

I've restarted my one town cause it was a mess. I never started with landscaping and or a theme in mind, so everything was randomly placed. I did make a pretty okay path system later on, save a few weird spots. But every theme I wanted for the town, it couldn't work with what I already had permanently down.

However, I feel like your map could have some potential. For me it's really based on the map, permanent PWPs and what theme you want.

Go for it if you really feel like it ive remade my original town until i was completely happy with it.

If the only thing you don?t like is that your villagers are in wrong spots, I don?t see a reason to start all over. I would just work in trying to get them to move out and place paths afterwards on that area to prevent any new ones to move in. Do this until all the badly placed ones are gone.
