I am currently plot resetting Molly in my town! It takes ages but it's worth it in the end! What are your guy's opinions on plot resetting? Do you ever do it? What's the longest it has ever taken you?

I hate myself during and love myself after LOL
I reset all my villagers in my main town to the side of the cliff and it looks kind of cute all of them in a line and then at the top is the police station keeping them safe :3.

Hahah yeah! I am trying to do all my villagers in a line at the bottom of my map!

Its worth it! especially since it seems like once you get a villager to plot in some place once it's easier to plot another one there a second time.

Yeah this is my first villager plot reset as i restarted my town. It takes aggeeeees!

I'm not overly specific of where my villagers live as long as they aren't in a horribly bad location, but I do think it can prevent stuff like them setting up a plot right in front of a bridge or your house, so it's worth it to do it a little bit. Although so far, the only reason I've plot reset is to control a random move-in's villager, yesterday, I was only able to get uchi villagers since I had every other personality type, so I just kept plot resetting until I got Muffy.

I never thought of doing it for that reason! So you can basically keep resetting until you get a villager you want or..?

I am getting nervous... Molly has placed her house in the same place for like 5 resets now.... wot.

As long as it's a random move-in!! If it's a move-in from your campsite or another town, it'll always be that specific villager, but yeah, with random move-ins, you can just keep plot resetting to change the villager. Although since it changes every time, along with the villager, you have to be okay with the villagers placement, since if you plot reset to change their placement, the villager will change too, so it only really works if you aren't overly specific about where your villagers put their houses.

Well, I just recently got into plot resetting, since I've developed paths in my town. My first time doing so was with a random villager, and though it wasn't where I wanted, it wasn't a bad location either (and this was like three days ago). Now, I just plot resetted Olivia, and she's in the right spot on the first try! o:
I think I lost one perfect orange tree though, but that's replaceable.

Ahhh okay I see what you mean! Can't have the best of both worlds and have the perfect placement as well as the villager!!

SOunds good! I never used to do it but on my new town I really want it to be perfect!

god, plot resetting is such a pain coz its so freaking tedious. i always dont have much luck when it comes to plot resetting so whenever i plot reset, it'll take me at least 6 hours to move my villagerss ass into a desired spot. i remember that the longest ive spent on plot resetting is 10 hours for tangy. yes people, 10 hours! everytime im done with plot resetting i just feel like a zombie.

So far I've been plotting Molly for over an hour.... I wish the beginning on the train wasn't so time consuming -_-

FINALLY SHE MOVED WHERE I WANTED!

I don't plot reset, because I like seeing how the town develops on its own. I might do it later if some of my dreamies move in, though.

I want to know if anyone plants pwps to make plotting easier!
im mapping out my entire town in qrs right now and have seen guides that say this speeds up the process...
I will be mad if I took all this time to try that and still have to reset for hours in my new town LOL.

Also, I try to let my villagers move wherever but I never can. I am just a control freak..

Plot reset is a very tiring process . and when i mean tiring, i really mean tiring. Took me a lot of time to get Blanche into a spot i want. But its still worth it in the end though. I especially hate it when a villager does nit move from a spit after a few rest and i end up nervous and worry about whether if i screwed up or not.

Plot resetting is such a pain! But when it turns out right, everything looks so nice. My town looks so put together when I eventually get all the houses where I want them to be. I give myself a pat on the back when that happens. :')

PWPs do make it easier! Neighbours can't put their houses on them so!
