The image below is edited, and is only to be used as an example until I move in all the villagers listed on the legend on the side. Currently, I have 5 out of 10 villagers.

I'm not really sure on what theme I want to go with, nor do I even know where to start with the paths because I have the houses in very odd locations, and those bridge spots are definitely not final. I was thinking of going Zen themed, with a forest touch to it, mostly because of Jacques and how separated he is to everyone else. I thought his area could be more forest oriented, because he's a lumberjack-inspired villager.

So.. thoughts, folks?

I wish that were my town map!! Retail is close to the dock and only one friggin pond!!!! That's awesome!!!

I really like the idea of Jacques in a forest! It's a big area so there will be lots of room to build up the forest.

Your Re-Tail and Town Hall are very evenly distributed, haha. I like when buildings aren’t too close to each other.

Honestly.. you mentioning the lumber-inspired villager made me think how a lumber mountain town would be so refreshing. I love forest towns, but I always see people on the forums wanting to go for a Zen theme (which is really nice, but they end up looking very similar). There’s a lot of furniture that is general enough to fit around your rooms for it as well; lots of pretty wood furniture and “old” looking furniture for that aesthetic. Please consider this. It’d look so dope. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Also.. you having a lot of wolf villagers already helps that theme. ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?)

This map was the result of six hours of resetting, lol.

One pond?
That's a shame. :(

They're so beautiful and awesome to landscape around.

I'm lucky enough to have four! ^_^

Oh wow. I tend to like only a few ponds. I do agree they help with landscape though.

I could not have the patience for that, haha. I’d probably just rage break from making a town.

I was actually aiming for a good layout with at least two ponds, but I couldn't pass up this one.

Oh trust me, I almost gave up a few times. x-x
