Oot or MM?

Do you prefer Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask?

I Prefer Ocarina of Time. Why? Cause it was the more innovative of the 2, MM reused most of the first one just placed it somewhere different. Now I will admit the story in MM is a little more inventive, but OoT still had its unique twists, including things like Shiek, and how the zora princess insists on marrying link lol. It was one of the games that defined 3d gaming

I prefer Majora's Mask in just about every way.

I love the 3 day mechanic and the fact that the same events happen over and over, I don't think any game has pulled this kind of thing of like Majora's Mask.

There is also the story, aside from MM, I'd say the stories aren't very good, but I love this one's, I love the different ways you can interact with all the characters and the different stuff you can do just messing around with them.

Gameplay wise it's pretty great. The masks are awesome, being able to transform into a Deku, Goron, and Zora and using their abilities to traverse the world is great and adds something new to the Zelda formula. The only complaint I have here is that there should have been more dungeons, but the game was massive enough as is, and sacrifices had to be made.

Music wise I say this is also my favorite it has a nice sad feel to it and I absolutely love it, fits great with the impending doom atmosphere, which is another great thing, the moon crashing down towards the earth is legitimately pretty scary, I think the atmosphere is perfect for this game.

There are many Zelda games like OoT, but MM is a very unique game on it's own. It took a formula used over and over again and did something new with it, which in my opinion is better. That is why Majora's Mask is in running as my favorite game of all time.

Majora's Mask. The plot and drama details were what you could call amazing. It also had a pretty deep theme too. OoT isn't necessarily bad, but I don't enjoy it as much as MM.

Ocarina of Time. The game was just all around better. The story twists, the battles, dungeons, everything! MM just annoyed the hell out of me. Didn't like that the time limit went by so fast. Idk, I might get it on vc just to replay it again. I just don't remember it being so great.

Either way part of why I like OoT better is also because I never liked that 3 day thing... I was always a frolic in the fields kinda player and didn't enjoy the time constraint...

I prefer OOT cuz i liked the gameplay a lot more and it was also the first zelda 3-d game (and very awesome for it's time),i also liked the dungeons a lot more,plus master quest is one of my fav zelda games,which is just a harder version of OOT (for those who don't know).

Ocarina of Time is going to win because it's so very very overrated.
Majora's Mask has a far better story, and 10X the sidequests.
When it comes to OOT, people only like it so much because of nostalgia.
Also about the 3 Day thing, Song of Inverted Time, makes it go very slowly, so it's not bad at all.
Also also, another reason MM is superior, and this is undeniable.
