So let me make sure I understand.
You need a nintendo account to:
Download other people's qr codes
Visit people online (local works without it)
Have people online visit you
And the game is set up so that to get all the flowers for now you have to trade and have an account?
Anything else I missed?
I got the free code but my internet is so patchy.
I'm really annoyed I'm supposed to pay a monthly fee to visit online

As if Harvey's island is useless without having cards or figures is enough...?
