I don't like the fact that you don't get decide whether or not you want to keep a villager PERMANENTLY. One day you start the game and you go into a villager's house... "Hey! I've just decided to leave and not tell you, goodbye!".
I cried for a while when I was younger because I lost Rosie in Animal Crossing: City Folk... :(

Hey guys, I don't really care if you post more than one thing you wanna change 'cos nobody's gonna follow it so I don't care tbh

I wan to beh famos

Being able to place villager houses will be too easy, same with choosing permanent villagers. I would be seriously disappointed if they put that into the game.

i hate the idea of the void. when voided villagers come into my town because someone did not clear it i get a bit upset.

Most features whether I personally like them or not serve their purpose so I can't say that there is one specific thing I would change. My biggest complaint has always been more storage. If you want to collect just about everything in the game you can and try to keep a nice looking town, forget it. However, even the lack of space serves it purpose as it challenges you to work around this with creating your other characters to use their space for storing inventory. You get to build new houses and unlock more items. I could probably find a reason for everything good and bad about the game and why it just wouldn't be the same without them.

Yes, I guess it does make the game a bit more exciting but I just really love my dreamies and hate to see them go :( Although I'm not too bothered about where villagers place themselves

The way villager's house locations are set. Really, it's a mess. You don't want your town to be disrupted by a house, especially in New Leaf, where decorating your town is a big part of the game.
My idea is to be able to set house plots, like the signs in previous games. They aren't decided by the game, you can assign them yourself. You have to set 12-15 plots (not 12 to 15, rather a set number, I'm just unsure what it should be), so the villagers can still choose where they want to live. A requirement for this is that they are spread throughout the town, so they could possibly work with acres, where at least 50% of the acres need to have a house plot in them. The house plots will show as a sign, and once a villager moves in, the area around the sign is taken in by the house, just like in previous games.

Just one thing? It would probably have to be the pattern system. Having to create all four characters just to place the paths I want is ridiculous...

Definitely the villager's dialogue. I find it very lacking compared to previous AC games. The tutorial speeches need to go within the first month of playing. I have had the game for three years now. I don't need to be reminded to press the d pad to switch tools.

I would want to decide where to put villager houses, but that would take anyway the typical and iconic 'they went on my paths! they went on my hybrids' thing. It's the thing that makes ac kind of xD

Making things any easier would, in my opinion, detract from the challenge of the game. Real life ain't always the way we'd like it. My wish would be, after one month of play, get a one-time option to change the name of the town or mayor or both. I do the naming too quickly and almost always regret it later.

I would like to change my town's name, I don't even know what I was thinking! Then my sister pointed out to me that it sounded like "Police Land", why did I do that?!

I just don't want the same person posting 10 things so I just narrowed it down to 1 so everyone gets to say something :)

*Shouting from the rooftops* DIALOGUE. The dialogue is so repetitive and is the only thing that bothers me.

I want to be able to place my PWP wherever I dang well please. Isabelle can take that "its to close crap" somewhere else :/ If a villager can plot one square from a bridge I should be able to build one anywhere

Lol at the policeland.. I thought the same thing when I saw your signature! xD
In response to the topic, I would say, be able to choose where villagers plot. I just had a bad experience with this yesterday. :/
Sure it'd make the game easier and all, but what's wrong with that? I don'thave the time to plot reset all day and part of the game is designing your town. As mayor, I think you should be able to have some say where somebody moves to. What good is it to be mayor if you cant even do that? xD

I agree with the dialogue, but I'll pitch in a different feature to be changed.
PWP limitations and placement.
I don't care if villagers need to be around it during the ceremony, just let the PWPs be closer together! It's so annoying!
Also, 30 PWPs isn't enough for me.

I wish the game didn't have such long loading screens. It kills the immersion for me. All I think about is how to minimize my trips into buildings to avoid the loading screens. But I guess it is a lot like real life since you want to do everything in one trip and not waste gas and time.

Only one thing? That would be my freedom to place houses without the hassle of resetting.
