Giveaway One Famous Mushroom

Decided to give away one of my mushroom; hoping that those who already have a mushroom don't join (but who am I to stop you, right). Just answer the questions below-- whoever gives me a right answer first gets the mushroom!

Are mushrooms plants? Why or why not? Defend in a single sentence.

(Sorry this turned out science-y, but it's super easy since there's Google to help y'all. Note that there are multiple ways to defend your answer, but I'm only looking for one good reason, no need to list everything down. Good luck!)​

Mushrooms are fungi they contain no chlorophyll and most are considered saprophytes; they obtain their nutrition from metabolizing non living organic matter.

Mushrooms to me, are different from plants and really anything else in the kingdom of flora and fauna because they take such radically different shapes than anything else and can literally be just gelatinous matter but still having a sort of sentience that propagates by releasing tiny spores everywhere!

Right! Mushroom don't photosynthesize unlike plants that need sunlight to make food. Mushroom get their nutrition from the forest floor instead (and something they leech off the roots of trees)!
