On Sanrio Characters

So originally i know everyone thought we wouldnt be able to move them in and could only get their furniture, but since all the amiibo characters from splatoon and loz are move-in-able, shouldnt the sanrio characters be as well? can anyone whos gotten a hold on the cards confirm this? (i need etoile and chai in my life...)

I believe the Sanrio characters can move in. They're in Nintendo's dream town, at least!
