On a Scale of 1-10 how addictive is Animal Crossing New Leaf?

Right now it's 9-10 territory, consuming all my tiiiime oh my goddd. I didn't think I was going to get so into it when I picked it up for Christmas and now I'm a slave to it.

For me, it's currently a 10. It's pretty much the only game I've been playing for the past few months and I play it all the time.

When I first got it, it was a 10 for about a year.

Recently, however, I've got all my dreamies, my town is perfect, my house is done, and I've cataloged almost everything. There's nothing left to do and it's all boring now. I play for maybe ten minutes every other day just to check on stuff. Other than that, I don't play it anymore.

However, it always picks back up during summer as my friends and I have all-nighters where we play until like 4am lol.

Been playing for a little over a year, and I kind of dropped off around 8 or 9 months.

As such, I'd give it a solid 8 in addictiveness, but it's definitely less so than say, Pokemon.

Every time a new game arrives in the series, it's always a 10 for me for the first year or so. But now, even though I'm nowhere near being complete in perfecting my town and catalog, I'd have to say it's about a 7 or 8.

Gonna have to echo what a lot of people've said.
It was definitely a 10 for me starting out, but as I got further into the game it slowly dropped. Now it's pretty low-priority, but I'll still say maybe a 3 since I haven't dropped it completely. I mostly only play if I'm wifi-ing with others now, since there isn't much left to do (albeit my town could totally use some re-doing, so maybe I'll get around to that eventually).

Initially it was a 2 until I started watching let's plays to understand the game then it became a 10. I was obsessed with collecting everything. Now it's probably a 6, I still play everyday for a little but it's not like I have to play for hours on end collecting and stuff anymore, kinda sad. I might get a second game just to have different dreamies or experience different villagers and decorate my town knowing what to do now.

It's about a 9 to me when I'm into it, but when I reset and take a hiatus, I almost forget about it depending on how busy I am. I love it so much though!!

Super addicting, when I had my first game I started losing interest and then it randomly sparked back up with a vengeance, and then i LOST MY COPY! So I instantly bought a second and I haven't been able to put it down, I play like crazy and often give up sleep to make sure my town is cared for and to make sure I do my chores EVERYDAY!

When I first started -> 3/10
When I realized there's so much to do -> 9/10
Trying to do everything I can -> 9001/10
Post-peak -> 7/10

Because I'm working on re-modeling my town right now, it's a solid 10/10 for me. I just finished kicking up the last of my old paths and now it's time to plan new ones while I plant flower pics around town.

It fluctuates depending on how things are going in my town... There have been times where it's like a 3 and it's a chore for me to even pick it up and water my flowers and other times where I can't put it down. Right now I'm really working on my town, getting villagers, growing hybrids, etc so it's a pretty solid 9 or 10. Earlier today I was so excited to get home and plot reset for a villager, and that's saying something...

Right now 10/10. When it first came out, 10/10. But there was a period after I had played about a year that it was like 2/10 for maybe 6 months. The trick was restarting with a different focus. I'm sure picking up a second system to trade with myself and help with visits, streetpasses, turnips and trading will probably keep the rating high for me till whenever a new version comes out

9 for me. I like to take my time playing it. I don't rush to get things done. I have always loved this game. It's relaxing and I get super attached to villagers.
