Ok so I've been resetting maps lately to obtain peach as my native fruit.
After 27 resets I have finally found a good map with peaches! [Hurray] until I realized that my character is a girl. OMG what have I done. I think I choose the "cute, right?" Instead of the "cool, right?" Mistakenly.

GAAAH! Should I play or reset and try again.

Well that sucks! If you found a map you truly like, then you can try playing as a girl. I mean it's the same game, you're just playing as the opposite gender. Or, you can just make a male side character and just play on the side character and only use your mayor when you need to do mayor stuff.

What face does your mayor have? You could be able to pass it off as gender neutral. My s/o has the sleepy boy eyes, and I asked him to wear a dress and wig to see if he could pass off as a lady. It was pretty decent.

Plus, once you unlock shampoodle and can get the male hair, it's kind of whatever. You just might get Snooties talking about make up with you but villager conversations aren't too bias.

I guess it depends how much toil you want to take again.

I've seen males wearing dressing up exactly like a girl and aced it, so I think dressing a female as a male would work too. If the eyes are girly, then wear some cool shades over it. And dress as a guy. It's not embarrassing, I've seen it happen with other players and they are fine, nobody laughed at them.

You can also make a male side character and use it instead. My character is a side character (because my sister is mayor).

But if it really really bothers you, then just reset again.....even after all that annoying map resetting Dx

That seriously sucks. Like the above posts, Just buy some male clothes that would suit you. it also depends on your character's eyes, so you can pass off as one.

But if your REALLY bothered, then I suppose you are going to have to hang out with rover again... (R.I.P.)
