So I've been map resetting for a couple weeks now, and I finally found a map that seemed like it would suit my future landscaping plans.

I decided to name this town Oeilvert, after a location in Final Fantasy IX. Roughly translated, the name means, "green eye".

So keeping that in mind, I ended up with a green train station AND town hall, and pears as the native fruit.

This is beyond perfect, given the name of the town.

Has anyone else experienced something awesome (and kinda pointless) like this?

That's great! I have had a perfect town layout, the native fruit I wanted, the colors of the train station and the town hall I wanted, and I got like 2 of my dreamies right off the bat! That town is gone, however, I like the one I have now.

You're telling us how awesome your map is but you don't show a picture... suspicious.

Since I'm apparently a liar.

That's brilliant. The only thing that has ever happened to me is one time I had a town with native oranges and Tangy was a starter. She was like the town mascot.

the town I have now has a really nice map in my opinion (big private beach, town hall close to plaza, retail close to beach) AND I got the fruit I wanted AND I got Ankha as a starter which was great since I had her in my previous town and losing her was one of the only reasons I was a little hesitant to restart again :)

Grats, I'm not too fond of those looooong beaches but I love the map layout in general because no annoying tiny spaces...
