The gold armor costs 8 gold nuggets, plus I didn't have the recipe, so I paid someone 50K to craft it for me with my nuggets.

The rocket takes 10 star fragments and 20 iron.

In addition to the armor & rocket, the robot takes 30 rusted parts (ugh!), 90 iron nuggets & 10 gold nuggets!

And 50 customization kits cost me another 30K!

So, to customize something, you have to buy a kit?
Every time?
And more than one?

I thought one kit gave you the option to customize anything, any time.

Why is this such a grind.

Most things cost more than one kit to customize. A shell arch, for example, takes 7 kits. Each kit costs 600 bells, so 4,200 to customize one arch!

I don’t TT either, got lucky with a Rocket DIY then put a post in Nooks Cranny paying 100k each for Rusted Parts, got mine set up on a Rock looking like it’s fighting the Monster statue

for me, the big issue is those damned rusted parts. since I'm

a) not tting
b) not not helping gulliver for the time being
c) too cheap to pay market prices for them

do hope they someday give us other methods to obtaining, even if it's just a rare chance

Specifically for the robot. They're hard to find because not everybody knows how to get them.

it's more that they're a pain to get

you either get one the next day from the recycle bin after helping gulliver or don't help him but grab his parts and get five
