Older Players

Hi folks!

Lululand is open!! I hope the "no running" and "please don't pick the flowers" signs aren't too tacky. Please let me know what you think.

Take care... hope to see you in the game!

Hey everyone, I was just looking through this thread and something occurred to me, this thread could really work as a Group! :)

I'm 23 and I would really love to hang out with other older players too.

Unfortunately the "Start a Group" add-on is currently out of stock in the shop. But if there was some great interest in this idea, I'd be willing to put in the bells to start a group for older players when the add on becomes available again.

What do you guys think? (:

Hi Bulb!

I'd join any group of that focus.

I'm sure after spending some time in the process, I'd find out where groups are, and how to get added to one. There might even already be a group of this nature? I haven't even looked (smile).

But I'm game for anything you start up. Count me in.

Are you up for being added as a "friend"? If so, let me know, and I'll add ya.

Take care... John from Lululand

Hello Ladies... Gentlemen.. and.. well... heh heh.. mostly... myself! (GRIN).

I had a visitor today who went and visited the shops. Almost immediately after they were in the shop area, there was an ERROR message and I reverted back to a state before they arrived.

Anyone else have this issue? Is it a known bug?

I just had a visitor prior, without issue, although I'm not sure if they visited the town or not.

This is not the first time that I have received an error message. Sometimes when I leave my gates open overnight, or during the day.... unattended... I come back to my system to see that the ERROR message is present. But... ironically... we've also been having internet connection outages here in the past week (nothing tonight when this error occurred), so it's really hard to pinpoint anything at this point.

I had lent a GOLD axe to a friend... and they had just returned it. Then they went to the shops, and the error occurred. When the screen came back, it was in the state before they came. I hope the game gave them back the axe. I don't have it on my end. Not a big thing.... as I've pretty much done all the chopping Ineeded except for bamboo that grows like wildfire.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I'm also looking to trade TBT bells for IGB.... and looking for the right forum to do so.

Take care...

Hi Tazz!

I added ya. I hope to see you in Lululand soon!

Lululand's "rule ordinance" is pretty laid back...
No running.
Have fun,
And leave the flowers to bask in the sun!

That's it!

(I wiped out flowers and grass by running... You'll understand when you see the flowers). Grass is finally coming back after I thrashed it by running over it.

I especially like recommendations!

I'm currently working on a few in home furniture renovation projects. I'm going for the surprising and bizarre. Anything to awe or make people smile.

Next up is a grandiose throne with... Well.. Hehehe... You'll see later. It's sure to draw ones breath. Exciting things ahead x

Keep looking up...

The Story Behind Lululand...

Hello Animal Crossing's Folk..

As you may remember, some weeks ago, Lulu's wife and lifetime play friend "Shy" died in my hand, as Lulu frantically tried to nudge her back to life.

His entire existence was mirroring Shy's flight and feeding her, while often perching above her to watch over her... 24/7.

When Shy couldn't be found any more in the land of those who draw breath, Lulu became depressed beyond consoling, flying repeatedly to their frequent perch areas and calling... crying... out for his second half. He began to insistently "feed" the mirror, any mirror, thinking it was his wife.

He did this non-stop until, after 2 days, I removed his... their... mirror. I spent all my time with Lulu during this, and tried to divert his attention in any way possible. He kept searching for Shy.

Then Lulu got sick... Puffed up and not fending off the minor pecking of the other birds. Lulu is the Alpha bird of the flock, and thus I'm sure you know how abnormal this is. He would sleep surrounded by the 4 remaining playful and very alert siblings... Without his usual dominant posturing.

When a Parakeet exhibits this type of behavior, something is past wrong, and if not addresses in an emergent manner, it's probably too late. They get real sick, real fast. Early warning signs are their stoic and bloated feather attempt to "appear" healthy... a survival instinct. When this exterior appearance is gone, the bird is likely very very sick.

I imagine Lulu was not getting any nutrition, and only regurgitating his sustenance to "feed his wife"... the mirror.

At 8pm, I rushed Lulu to the emergency animal hospital that addresses parakeets. They close at 9pm.

I had just been there a few weeks ago, waiting in their lobby 9 hours while they worked on his wife "Shy"... who although perfectly healthy and active only a day prior, died the next morning in my hand due to complications of the egg-bound uterus separation (uterus died to, and stuck to... the egg).

For 9 hours, the vet specialist slowly peeled back the egg from the uterus... Successfully. But life after a small uterus tearing (complication) is very slim, and the next morning, "Shy died in my hand with her 4 siblings surrounding her and her husband Lulu attempting to drive the breath of life back into his dying soulmate.

After obtaining antibiotics for Lulu, (they ALL remembered Shy and my tearful 9 hour wait... them taking her home), and nursing him to heath with love, affection, and medicine... Lulu thrived.

To ease his loss, I purchased "Lyla"... For Lulu. Lyla is the same size as Shy was, yet more of a tropical yellow and teal to Shy's blue-gray feathers.

Ironically, of the 5 parakeets, Lyla immediately latched into Lulu. Like glue. But, Lulu only "tolerated" this... Seeing Lyla as a minor annoyance. Lulu slowly came out of his depression... And kinda looks over Lyla as a big brother.

Lulu will get past this... he's got a lot of love all around him.

In Nintendo's 3DS "Animal Crossings" game, Lululand's gates are frequently open... with an environment that aims to sooth the senses... and a house that will forever remind him that cherished pets feel... hurt... and move on... Like their caretakers.

I the last 5 years, almost every aged relative I have, has died. My dad, my father-in-law, my aunt, my uncle, 2 cherished parakeets that left gaping holes in my already injured heart, and some distant relatives.

I know Lulu's pain.

Likewise, my Father in Heaven knows my (our) pain from these types of losses, and will one day remove the sting of these instances, forever. We won't even remember them. Can't wait for that day.

Revelation 21:4
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

In the 3DS game Animal Crossings,
Lululand's gates are open, if you desire to visit. Just add my 3DS "Friend Code" 5429-9986-3735. Then leave me a message, and I'll add you promptly.

Take care... And have a wonderful day.

Lululand's Gate is Open for anyone who wants to come on down.

Here are today's highlights..

Turnips sold for 92 in bundles of 10.

The Retail Store is open till 2 AM Pacific Standard Time, and the Happy Home Showcase Realtor is open till 12am.

The Retail Store is selling "Orchid Mantis" at a premium today.... will 2 AM.

There is a full moon, and some creatures don't do so well in this light. So there's that to consider.

The flowers are blooming, as is the Mayor...

There are no current public works projects as the Upgraded Train Station is pending completion tomorrow morning at 6am.

The rivers and streams are stock full, as they haven't been "fished" in quite a while, which in itself is rather fishy.

The rules are always simple... Have fun, don't run, and leave the flowers to grow in the sun.

Have a wonderful evening.

Hi Folks!

I don't curse, don't smoke, drink very little, and don't kill/Slander/Murder or anything else.

But I do apparently talk to myself (SMILE!!!)

This should be filed under "Twlight Zone Marathon"

Tonight I had a nice visitor. He was going out and about while I attended to business. Sometime later I get a message, "Hello?", so I automically respone, "I'm here".

For some reason, I also added, "You Ok?"

Well... the usual expected response is "yeah, u?". But this time I got something totally unexpected.

Their reply: "I'm stuck".

It took me a bit to process this, and my first thought was a pitfall seed without their knowing how to manage it.

So I asked, "Where are you?"

He said, "Town". So my next reply was, "Shops?", and he said "Yes".

Now I was really curious. I replied, "I'm on my way".

Once at the shops, I glanced around and then asked, "Which shop?"

Their response, "By The Water".

Now I was really curious... yet sweat began to form on my character's brow. So I went to the only shop of two that was "by the water", and went into the shoe store. No one was there. Humm.... but then came another message... and this message really sent me over the edge.

They said, "I fell over".

WHAAAA? I'm thinking this person fell over the side of the cliff! My imediate through was that they landed on the beach section that was separated from the main beach by a waterfall... and, of course, didn't have their wet suit with them. Knowing that there was nothing I could do to help this person, I hit "start" and chose "End multiplayer session" to take them outta their isolation.

But I got "AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED", and the data reset back to when I first opened the gates... a long time before.

Lost a few gardening chores, but nothing I can't quickly remedy.

Has anyone heard of someone falling over the edge of their cliff before?

I'm just DYING to try it.

Take care....

Hi Kae5738!

I'll add you right now.

I hope you have a wonderful time in the game.
I'll be leaving my gate open much of tonight as I take care of a few things around town.

I'll go down for a bit to visit the Happy Home Showcase, but then be back up again.... most likely.

Thank's for adding me!!

Take care...

John from Lululand

Hi Kae5738!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful visit.

I really appreciated your humor and your playful nature.

Thank you.

Yeah sure, I'll send you a Friend Request now. As soon as the Start a Group add-on becomes available again, I will get in touch. :)

Hi again Bulb!

Great! I'll look for it. I got the email stating the request, but it didn't send me to the approval page when I clicked on the email. So.... I'll spend some time looking for it.

Would you like me to add you to my 3DS Friend List? Then, if you visit, I can make you a Best Friend.... and then... you can just message me in game whenever it's available. Thanks for everything.

I hope you have a wonderful day.

Either way, I'll leave the light on fer yeee.... hehehe.

Hi!
I just can't stop talking to myself!!
But it's not nearly as bad as my nervous twitch (NOT!).

Any"hooo"... "Blathering" right along anyway... (no matter how silly):

Last night I left the town open for visitors who are on a different time zone than myself... Or those who just couldn't sleep... Or (worse), the heavily addicted Animal Crossings gamer (all are equally welcome!!... Smile).

At about 1 AM, I opened the unit to see "an error has occurred", and when tapping the "ok" option (or whatever was given as an option), the game reset to the time when I last saved.

I get this from time to time. Someone had told me that when multiple visitors are present, the town locks with that error screen.

Has anyone else experienced this happening?

If you were visiting during this, I do apologize that you were booted out.

The wildest thing/error is the visitor who fell off the cliff the other night, and got "stuck" (if you're that person, can you private message me? I'm dying to know what occurred at the time).

Anyway... Sorry if you got booted. Take care, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Hey all, just throwing myself out there as a fellow older player. I'm 23 and will have my gate open most nights if anyone is looking to kill some time!

Sounds great. I'm usually on after hours but may jump on in the afternoon every now and then.

Hi Cheff! Added ya. I sent you a private message to add me back. I'm up most nights as well, so I'm sure we'll "Cross" paths (smile).

Please don't forget to add me back. I'll need to be added to your 3DS friend list, which is different than the Bell Tree Site "friends"... at least I think it is (grin).

Take care...
Hope to see you in the game real soon..

Hi Zingy! I added you too. Please remember to add me back... 5429-9986-3735

I'm also up nights, as many others are (it seems). Should be interesting if we all get together. I just learned that a total of 4 people can get in a boat and go to the island. That would make some island tours reall interesting to say the least. Should be a lot of fun.

When I see you on, I'll add you as a Best Friend so we can communicate in game. Lululand had a meteor shower the other night, and a few of us got to "make a wish" upon the falling stars... and got a gift in the mail the next morning. Never know when a special event will pop up.

I really like seeing someone on my "best friend" list when Katie pops up and wants to go to another town. Kinda a bummer when there's no where to send her. She also gives a gift the next morning.

Hope to see you in the game real soon. Please add 5429-9986-3735 to your 3DS "Friend" list as well.

Have fun!!

Hi Marc!

Got you in my "Friend" list as well! I'm sure you're seeing my prior message to those I've just added... and it's all the same for you too bro. I'm looking forward to meeting up with you in the game.... (wish my coffee shop was available as a public works project.... but alas, I'm not "there" yet; grin).

Maybe a bunch of us could gather and play hide-and-seek? I've heard that some do it with their villagers.... and some get together for it. Might be kinda fun.

It's only 2:45 in the afternoon, and my eyes are already getting heavy!! heh heh. Time for a power nap! Then I'll be good to go until the wee hours of the morning.

Hope to see you in the game real soon. Take care..
