Lululand has had its gates mostly shut these past days as I gain new manually added residents, and moving stuff around between them (storage issues).

Hi all!

I'm so bummed!!

I was planting two cherished roses (black and gold) so as to hopefully produce another of either, and also began to plant fertilizer next to them to help the potential duplication along.

I was a full space away from anything to ensure my shovel didn't dig up anything. So when I dug, IT DUG UP THE BLACK ROSE TWO FULL SPACES AWAY!!

I'm reluctant to use the shovel anywhere near my hybrids to begin with... but two spaces away?!

Bummer. Lost one of my only two black roses. Boo hoo hoo.

I hate using the shovel!

Anyone else have similar shovel experiences?

Another thing I just started noticing... is that when the GROUND STARS start popping up in the morning, they can do so right where a flower is, and that flower is history. It will be such a bummer if, when I awake tomorrow, the hybrid rose garden I've set up for farming hybrids is bombarded with ground stars... and.. I loose even more rare roses.

Oh well... a few glitches in the game...

I deleted most all inactive Friend Codes.. people who asked to be added, yet did not reciprocate the request; not only for the friend code room (there's a limit), but also to use the Friend Code option for what it was designed for... return add so you can enjoy the game on a more involved level.

Lululand's Gate is OPEN!

Remember...

Please don't run. One accident can literally wipe out a lot of landscaping work, and... worse, remove cherished hybrid and other flowers.

But of course, being the "Older Players" forum... you all know this already (smile). You've "been there, done that".

PS: Recent Changes to Lululand

1. Lulu's house has had minor updates.

2. New Resident: Tweety (yes, also one of my parakeets)
Tweety's house is something to behold. This is one professional bird! Come see why!

3. New Resident: Sweety (yeah... another parakeet.... grin)
Sweety is not as well off as the others. She's a bit... well... "rustic" for lack of a better word. Come see why

4. New Villager: Shep.... a blindfolded sheep/dog who can never see what I'm saying.
Plopped his house right where I really didn't want it. I've ignored him to date, so maybe
he'll move.

5. Muffy left.... finally. How? Well, not too long ago she said she would, and I asked her to stay. Then I realized I didn't want her to stay at all. I needed her realistate. She just wasn't "ma type" of character. So... following all Googled recommendations on how to get a villager to leave, I used my toy hammer... significantly... on her (no, I still didn't feel good about it and still have nightmares about it)... and... I ignored her sickness and never ever spoke to her again.

She was gone in a few weeks.

(Note: Do NOT try this same technique on your spouse. Instead, be really, really, nice to them. That outta do the trick. It's called, "Shock Treatment".)
