Marshal randomly plotted in my new town. He's one of my dreamies. I had him in my past 2 previous towns. I was thinking of just buying him from the Trading Plaza because I didn't think he would move in my town by himself.

Only downside is he's kinda in a bad spot... :/

How can I work around this? I hate it when there's 2 houses next to each other like that. I also hate it more when they're not aligned together

Yikes, Zell is giving me the same problem, but I could never let him go. Sometimes landscaping can help the issues, but houses aligned so weirdly is overall annoying.

Could I possibly see what you've done with his house?

i hate when they're like this too! it's much better when they're 3 spaces apart because then you can put bushes or trees in between. however, drago moved right next to me in one of my old towns, and it actually ended up being one of my favorite spots:

If it were me, I'd probably move out the villager next to him so I wouldn't have to worry so much about his house placement or get agitated by it, but if you're planning on keeping the villager next to him there's nothing much you can do about it I guess. Perhaps you could add a few trees in the area for example cedar or regular to make it less noticable that they aren't in line? I think that'll help to give the illusion that they are, since the trees are pretty tall in this game and most of the time it's hard to see over the tops of them once they grow to full size - so I think that'd help with the issue. You could even criss-cross your clovers to make it look more on purpose and not accidental. I think that'd look nice. Good luck!

Hey that's really cool you got Marshal :) I never managed to find a single dreamie in my campsite or random move in the whole time I was searching. It's only recently I've had Wolfgang in camp but had no room for him :(
Anyway, I had that problem when I had Chief and Lopez next to each other. I didn't find it massively noticeable although it wasn't ideal. At the time I was using a path which was a diet pattern and grass border, it had corner pieces so it could look really natural. I used that leading from chiefs house to Lopez' house to make it look like I'd plottedbthem there on purpose. Not sure if it makes much sense without a photo to show you. But if it is really bothered you I think I would just move out the other villager, I moved them both out in the end and still have villagers plotted there now but this time I made sure they're aligned to save any problems :) good luck!

I have the same issue with, ironically, Marshal, as well. But it's inceptual, as he did ti next to Punchy, who did it next to Rory. Now I have a staircase-like street. Ironically, on the other side, where I have a path that intersects from Town Square, I have a perfect row of Pietro's house, then my house, then Lolly's house, all together in a straight line.
