Oh my god...is my town corrupted?!

Okay so I removed the SD card and placed it into my computer to delete some photos and...I turn on my 3DS to see K.K.'s concert and a red warning comes up (red warnings scare me really bad, don't judge) and it says something blabla blah 'extra data will be made'. As soon as I saw that I shut off my 3DS, ejected my SD card, and shoved it back in the 3DS. Omg someone please tell me my town wont be corrupted...it CANT be corrupted ack acguhc ka halp me ;-;

Did you actually safely eject the SD card before removing it from your computer? Not doing that may cause problems.

You need to give us more information... Saying that the red "warning" said "blah blah blah" doesn't help much. If your data is corrupted, it will say that your data is corrupted. The only way you'll find out is to turn the game on and face the music.

When you deleted the photos, are you sure you deleted the photos and nothing else? I usually delete my photos through the 3DS camera to assure that I won't delete anything that's important.

You probably deleted the extra data that stores streetpass

Only way to actually find out is turn your game on and see if it prompts you to continue your file.

It sounds like the starting message when you begin a new town saying that extra data will be stored on your SD card when you create a town :s

I don't think the corruption message says anything about extra data. The corruption message states that the game is corrupted, and that it's going to delete your current town and make a fresh new one. I think you're safe; just be careful when you're deleting things next time. You're lucky it was just the streetpass data!

just remember whenever to you put the SD card into your computer its only the DCIM folder you ever deal with, leave the one named 3DS alone

Amber Alerts scare the poo out of me! I remember one night my phone began to explode in the middle of the night... Nearly gave me a panic attack. D:
