So I was trying to evict villagers and when I closed my 3DS and went afk, the game card came out somehow. Is my town data screwed?

You can also try to google it to see if anyone else has better answers

No, doesn't mean that. It's the same as turning the DS off without saving, only thing is resetti will pop up.
