Post any strategies, decks, and cards you've recently gotten here.

I mostly use a red/green agro deck, consisting mainly of Zendikar series.

Haha, MTG not popular with the acnl crowd apparently xD

I just made my first deck after my boyfriend got me into it. It's a Dimir mill deck with a side of damage. I don't know much about aggro strategy. . . my bf and I both like the sneaky kill mechanisms or dealing direct damage with sorcery cards. I played his white-green pillowfort deck once but didn't have a good time with it. . . there's just so many ways to shut down a single big creature, haha. Honestly I don't know much about red-green.

Do you play modern or standard? I play modern, both to save my monies and because I think building a deck is more fun when you have a large pool of cards to choose from. Just more chill in general.

I played from 4th Edition till the end of the Urza block.

*I feel ancient*

Edit: the Mirage and Tempest block formats were the Most fun to play IMHO. I loved Type II, but 1.5 and 1.x were also a lot of fun. I can't believe they got rid of that nomenclature.

Ok, I actually can. It's easier to remember "Legacy" than it is to remember "Type I."

I've been playing on and off since Ice Age.

My fave deck right now is a Darksteel/Arcbound artifact deck.

Spawn tons of Arcbound, whip out a Darksteel Colossus at reduced cost, dump a bunch of tokens onto it, and keep attacking.
