Having played ACNL on and off since its release, I've come to notice some very odd habits and/or behaviors of the Villager personalities in my town(s). Have you noticed any yourself?

Normal villagers: they often seem to be in their homes a lot, otherwise they normally wander outside their house and not straying too far. Occasionally at Main Street or Re-Tail.
Peppy villagers: they (ironically) seem to be the most 'normal' villagers in my town. I've never really seem them have any odd habits or patterns to them. I just randomly see them around town.
Snooty villagers: I often see them wandering outside their house, or at main street. If they aren't there, I can normally find them inside their house.
Uchi villagers: I always seem to find them wandering outside at the town plaza, their home, or Re-Tail. I rarely seem to find them inside their house, too, unless it's super late at night.
Jock villagers: I call the Jock villagers the 'wild cards' of my town. I legitimate can never find these guys, since they seem to wander ANYWHERES in town. Really makes delivering things from other villagers to them difficult.
Cranky villagers: Similar to peppy villagers, they seem to be the most 'normal' villagers in my town. No odd habits or patterns. I just find them randomly around town, often around their house or in Re-Tail.
Lazy villagers: For being lazy villagers, they seem to roam just as much as the Jocks do, otherwise I find them inside their house very frequently.
Smug villagers: I often find the smug villagers inside their house, around the town plaza or at main street. However, they really like to perform vanishing acts randomly and it's very odd.

So, have you noticed any odd things with your villager personalities?

Ive never noticed anything weird but ill check this out.

Stella typically stays inside her house and Eunice likes to wander right outside of her house. If Stella is out and about, I can usually find her near her house as well; they really don't like to stray too far from the comforts of their homes.

Lol, we have the opposite problem. I can't seem to NOT find my Jocks. They love coming up to me and telling me about their muscles and overall physique.

I think all my villagers stay close to their homes, but I don't know how much that is them or because of the layout of my town. With the map I chose, Re-Tail and Town-Hall are on the south side of the river (which runs horizontally). Most of my villagers have chosen to live in a straight line along the cliff near Re-Tail/Town-Hall/my house. Regardless, it makes it easy to find them.

This is what I mean by odd habits/behaviors of some of the personalities. I've yet to see someone who has villagers who act like mine. I swear Nintendo's working some voodoo magic with the AI of villagers.

All my new move-ins seem to like lurking in the museum for the whole first day they are properly moved in. Actually it seems like a lot of the time my villagers are either there or in the coffee shop whenever I can't find them.

I haven't noticed any specific personality type differences but:

Ankha is seems to spend most of her time at home.

Muffy roams around town the most.

Raddle likes to creep around my house a lot.

Lucky is almost never home.

And something maybe a little weird is I haven't seen them visit each other's houses at all yet. Most of them are still pretty new though, so maybe that just takes time?

From my own experiences, I often see villagers visit each other if they've lived in the town for a month. I remember in my old town before I restarted, Skye and Ferya would always hang out together in the evening hours at Freya's house.

Maybe that's it then, although I never saw any of my starting villagers visit either, and I definitely had them more than a month. Maybe my town just makes everyone anti-social :p

Naw, I think it just seems to be a rare occurrence. I hardly see it myself nowadays, just my old town it was only Freya and Skye who would hang out at least once a week at Freya's place.

Melba usually likes to go to the other side of the map (literally) just to take some weeds off.

I just found Ribbot in Eunice’s house! He’s only been here for a little longer than a week.

i have all my villagers houses placed very close to each other very close to the left cliff so i cant ever find them on the other side of town. despite this i like having them placed near each other though because it leads to more of those villager conversations, it makes it seem more like a community hub

Most of the time they are walking into each other. They keep doing it, facing each other, and going nowhere.

Diva makes me so mad. She's really rude. She's like "in hey, you must get around a lot. "

I think that the smug villagers visit the Museum a lot. I never think to check there when I can't find them, but then when I happen to go visit it and they also happen to have been missing that day, I'll always find them there! Maybe that's where they disappear to?

If you're referring to how my smug villagers seem to perform vanishing acts.. Nope. I never find them in the museum.
