I believe I just got scammed for him on another board so I came here in my sadness. I spent 3 hours TTing to get the villager the other player wanted to move out and then was silly enough to trust them to be honest seeing as I spent so much of my time getting what she wanted.

Half of me wants to think she just closed the lid and forgot to end the game but probably not.

When an auction ends at 2:00, it closes at 2:00. eBay auctions don't close at 2:01. but whatever, it's okay if you're going to be like that :/
