Obtaining cooking recipes

I know you can get cooking recipes from villagers,nooks,nook miles,bottles on kappn island(and im assuming hhp island), from the chef when you build the restaurant and from fishing. Are there other ways? I assumed since you could get them from fishing you could also get them from catching deep sea creatures but so far nothing. Didn't get one from digging up manilla clams(I know there is a recipe with them) or gathering fruit. Just wondering if I'm missing something.
