I discovered the meanest thing you can do to a villager in acnl: force them to stay awake past their bed time! XD

I was curious about this so I went to Fang's house (cranky villager = sleeps at 4:00am) at 3:57am and stayed there past 4:00am and I expected him to kick me out or something but no. guess those supposedly cranky villagers aren't cranky after all
I felt bad so I left a few minutes later...

ever did this to a villager before? I actually believe if you stayed there till it's wake up time they won't sleep at all

I did this to some lazy villagers. I also trapped villagers in holes so they couldn't go back to their houses to go to bed.

I have trapped two together in holes and they get mad and eventually will argue or relax and talk with eachother. Its funny.

I used to do it in Wild World with Tom Nook and the Able Sisters. I'd stay in the store pass closing time. Tom Nook would always kick me out but the Able Sisters wouldn't say a word. Such sweeties. xD

I never done this before, but I did catch a lazy sleeping late at night while having Night Owl Ordinance.

I just love saying this: We are so evil to our unwanted villagers.

OH! I also remembered that in Wild World I stayed in Shampoodle while it was closed, and when I left I was allowed to stay inside Nookingtons. Usually Tom Nook would kick me out, but not that time.
