Notification Question

How can I receive a notification when someone posts in a thread I make or a subscribed thread? I only get notifications about PM's.

You go to your control panel. Click on "settings", and you can see a list of threads you subscribed to.

Isn't there a way to receive a notification in the control panel about a new post?

Each time a subscribed thread gets a new reply you haven't read, the thread pops up when you first go to the control panel.

Yes. The notifications tab is only for Visitor messages, private messages, and if enabled, post likes.
