I added someone's FC and I still don't see them on the list to visit towns... and I have yet to hear a response of them saying if they see my town...

I'm also trying to reset my town but I'm hoping if there is someone who can hold my stuff...

Here are the steps to visiting/inviting some one to your town

1. Both people need to add each other's FC.
2. You/they need to open the towns gates.
3. Make sure you select faraway town when searching for a town to visit.
4. Let Porter connect to the internet.
5. Wait/select the town you want to go to.

Its only been 10 minutes, he'll surely reply soon.
Just stay patient, like someone else said, he could be doing something he can't announce to you right now (like do in chores)

He turns out to be offline the whole time. Maybe someone helped him..
