Northern Hemisphere Folks, may have minor spoilers on bugs

Currently playing ACNH. And i love it. I however am worried after resetting my island I didn’t choose the right hemisphere lol. Is there anyway to check? Maybe bug types? I’ve caught a sea bass, squid, crucian carp, loach and red snapper.

Is there a way to tell by fish? Would there be a distinct different between the two at this moment?

I’m in the Northern Hemisphere and have caught the same except crucian carp. Haven’t seen that yet.

Yeah I’ve caught all those same fish and I chose northern hemisphere, you’re good

What color is your grass? If it’s like bright green, you’re Northern Hemisphere.

Oh snap! No tarantulas yet... grass is green. It’s dark now. But I think I was over thinking it haha. Thanks for all the info. Anything else to share would be good. Let’s get them bells ��

My son is getting salmon, snapping turtles, and other different fish and he insists he chose northern hemisphere. I think he screwed up... he doesn’t want to start over though.

I fished for almost 5 hours it feels like. Haven’t seen any of those ��

I get not wanting to reset though. I feel the first day was fun, but wouldn’t want to go through it again.
