Even with allies, people can betray.[/quote]Germany won't betray us. We have very a good relationship with them now, and we also have military bases stationed throughout the whole country...so if they tried anything they would die.

We DID also help them rebuild from the ground up after we totally demolished most of Germany during the 2nd World War, just like we did with Japan (Which is why they are both allies).
