I'm just going to continue pushing her and whacking her with nets (just got a toy hammer so that'll be fun too huehuehue) and not talk to her until she decides to move out again.

Did you talk to that villager a lot and fulfill a lot of her requests? If so, she's probably one of your "best friend" villagers, and when they ping to move out, and you tell them to go ahead and move, they will troll and say that they're going to stay.

Actually, that's not necessarily true. I've been in the situation where I tell a villager I wasn't friendly with to leave and they said something along the lines of "we just haven't had enough time to get to know each other!" Or something, and they decide to stay. It's incredibly frustrating, especially when I can't "reset" because I already did so much in the day it would be a shame to lose all that progress in my experience though, it's the best friends that ask to leave all the time.. so OP, higher friendship ratings help if you want to just talk to her to pass the time, it won't hurt.

She will stay. You can quit without saving, or just wait until she asks you again.

I have Nibbles in my town (random move in), and I think she's cute, but if you don't like her then oh well I guess...

actually, i've noticed that the villagers you would talk to the most and do favors for usually ask to move out a lot. i suggest befriending nibbles. talk to them everyday, do favors, etc. there's a higher chance they'll move out that way rather than whacking them with a net and shoving them in pitfalls x"D the game likes to have your friends move out but have villagers you despise stay forever.

If you give lots of disrespect towards her, of course she'll want to stay since she wants to have a better friendship with you. Your only choice now is to be good friends with her, next time she wants to move she will probably won't change her mind. And if she does change her mind, you now know that you can reset and ignore her until said moving day

Update: I just got on and Nibbles pinged to move again!! And this time she agreed. She wants to "spread the good of this town" in another town lol, Hurray!!

Oh that sucks. It's a pain when you're all hyped for a villager to leave and then they go and do the exact opposite. I hope she'll ping you again in the near future to move out.

Dang, a few days ago I would have begged you to let me adopt her lol. She was my favorite villager in the GC game and I joined this forum just to get her. I'm glad she decided to move out again, and I hope she keeps her mind set this time!

Reset and open the game again, wait for her to ask again, it worked for me.
