No, it does not count.
Alright then, Cicilia was an ancient country in Asia Minor that was later conquered by Alexander the Great. Good enough for you?

That's one of them. Who can find another one in Eastern Asia?

French Indochina?
That wasn't a country, just an area. But, you are very, very close. In fact, it was in Indochina before the French even came.

Does it begin with F or Z?

Czechoslovakia, and Feudal Japan =B
When did Czechoslovakia migrate to Asia?
Blame the tectonic plates, not me =D It's actually all on the same plate, but I just pulled two things out of my mind, I wasn't actually giving it a legit guess.

Funan, and Cochinchina are my final answers~
Cochinchina is very close! In fact, this country was right where Cochinchina was, only bigger and extended up more.

You just said one that started with a C, you didn't say it had to be a specific one.

Cochinchina is not a country and never was. The people there weren't called "Cochinchinese". Same with Funan. Here, I'll give you a hint. It starts with C and ends with A. It was in Southeast Indochina.

In Asia? I don't think so. It may have been connected to or been in Asia before, but that was before it was a country/state. Wait a minute, it was a country?
