NOBODY UNDERSTANDS USSS!

"Facebook? Seriously dude, stop living in the dark ages. No one does Facebook any more! Go buy Animal Crossing or I'll tell everyone you don't even know who Tortimer is."

What a time it is to be alive.

None of my friends irl play but I talk to them about my town all the time. They know how much I hate Sylvia and how much I love Fang.
They think I'm "addicted" because I have a second copy....whaaaat? me? addicted?
Every time I street pass, I get notifications for Pokemon.
tHE struggle.

I'm in my late 20's and I'm at a point in life where I honestly don't care what people think of what I do in my spare time. My husband finds my ACNL obsession amusing and that's about it. I haven't met anyone who'd have told me that it's weird that I play ACNL.

I pull out my DS during my college classes. Anyone who gives me gruff I tell them to go f themselves. It's my hobby, not theirs. Not to mention a grown adult can do as they please.

Well, my friends don't seem to get why I play, but they accept it and don't mess around with my DS.
I sometimes carry my DS to the city to get some streetpasses and sometimes people look weird at me in the bus or in the train. But I don't really care..
There aren't many playing AC in my country. In fact, I don't think that there are that many playing DS at all. Perhaps Pok?mon, but not AC... At least not adults or players above 14 or so..

I got a lot of grief at school for playing wild world, it was pretty stupid really.
Now I don't even care, even though I'm 19 now, and get a few odd looks, I still sit with my 2DS on the bus too college, and sometimes play it between lessons.

I get quite a lot of streetpasses too. ,Streetpass is such a cool way of showing how many closet Animal Crossing fans there are :-)

My dad joked that it's a game for babies, but other than that people are just glad when I enjoy something :)

At 26 I couldn't really care less what other people think of my gaming habits :). Although I've not had many negative comments about it tbh.

My fianc? is a gamer as well (a fact I'm sure people who know him in RL would find hard to believe) and wouldn't dream of touching my consoles, he knows the hard work and time I put into games like AC. I'm sorry your roses were trampled :(.

For some reason, I don't like playing my 3DS around people I know. I think it's because I don't want them to think I'm a gamer (because I'm not) and I don't want them to think I play Animal Crossing all the time.
But I'm perfectly fine if it's on a plane, or somewhere where there aren't people my age. I don't know why it's always bothered me, but it's something I just can't seem to shake. :c
But I dooo get really excited when I find out someone plays New Leaf too, especially if they're my age ^u^
