No villager in her house?

I was looking for Reneigh and saw that her lights were on so I went inside her house. But she's not in here??
It's just her furniture and me

Is this a glitch? Should I do anything?

That happened to me. When I went back outside the lights were off and I can couldn't re-enter.

Okay update I left and she was standing right outside the door

Could this be the return of visiting villager's houses without them in their house? This happened in the original Animal Crossing and got removed in later installments you know?
