no snowstorm blizzard?

It will appear tomorrow on the ground. Events miss up the snow storm. On non event days some of my towns didn't have a blizzard the day before.
It also does the same thing in late February. All the snow disappears. I wished they showed the grass more with some snow before it went away.

It's weird that these glitches happen. Then again, this would also happen if the year was set to 1994, 2005, 2011, etc. because of how the calendar is done. Oh well, guess I'm not doing the fishing tournament.
I think the next game should have the tournament back to March-November, with it taking the winter off to avoid this from happening again.

In the later games, the footstep on snow sounds aren't that bad but in the original N64 and GCN games it was only 2 sound effects which kinda get irritating after a while since they are much louder than every other footstep sound effect. Not to mention that it feels weird hearing the sound of footsteps on the snow just after hearing the sound of footsteps on dirt. Oh well, at least the snow looks nice and it's my favourite type of grass in the series as well.

Why would you be happy that the fishing tourney prevented something that only happens once a year?
Winter is my favorite season IRL by a wide margin, but in Animal Crossing I only remember it by it being boring and longing for the day that the snow would all melt.
IRL snow does not stick around the whole winter. In fact, we're lucky to get snow at all anymore where I live. =( I'd prefer if it were more diverse in-game. There wouldn't always be snow on everything.

Seriously, though I could understand the sky being clear and there being no blizzard as that's the requirement for events, I've heard... But to actually the delay the snow on the ground - I find that odd. Why would they program it that way?

Appears to be snowing really heavily today in my New Leaf town, much heavier than usual. Maybe the blizzard did get delayed for today. Oh well, at least it happened and at least my town is now covered in snow. What I don't understand is that deteriorated grass doesn't heal during the blizzard which makes no sense. You'd expect the snow to cover the dirt but it doesn't.

If it seemingly isn't snowing, try talking to Kapp'n, go the island and then back to town. After that it should possibly be snowing heavily.

Awesome, I went on yesterday and was quite disappointed with the snow storm not happening. I really dislike fishing tourney days anyway, what with villagers saying nothing to you and nothing to do all day.
I'll have a check on my town in a bit, hopefully it was just delayed!

That's my main issue with the fishing tourney. They should allow the player to still have conversations with the villagers. Not to mention that I already won the fishing tourney 1st place ages ago and got the golden trophy so it's completely pointless for me to even participate in it (I'm not a fan of the fish/underwater furniture that Chip gives to the player).

In one of my towns, it's a clear sunny day and in another it's cloudy and in another town it's snowing lightly and they're all on the same date. (Yes, I checked three towns of mines)
So I guess you got a random snowstorm.
