No PWPs on Holidays?

I love my neighbor Gladys, who just suggested that we build a lighthouse. I have the perfect spot to build it at, and then Isabelle tells me that it is a holiday and that I should take the day off! Rather hypocritical of her seeing as she works 24/7! My lighthouse! Noooo! Might tt after I get the bug off bug set items that I want.

Seriously though, I have never heard of the no turnip thing. Can you give me a link to an article? I must know more...

She means that whenever you time travel, your current turnips rot and Joan won't appear for a couple weeks or so.

But that isn't true.

Joan shows up on every Sundays before 12 PM no matter what you do.

And turnips only rot if you go BACK in time.
So when you buy them on a sunday, you should only move foward ONE DAY AT THE TIME...and never go back, its a tougher russian roulette but its not nearly as bad as people say.

Ugh. I didn't realise that even after the event was over you can't work in the cafe or start a project. That's annoying.

It's funny how people complain they have to work on holidays in real life, but when they can't work on holidays in AC:NL, they rage. :/
