no path towns (if you're considering)

I never had paths until this game. I'd like the natural look in my town IF we could get back non-deteriorating grass. I tried walking everywhere, even doing the half walk where you don't leave a puff of dirt/sand and I'd still get dirt patches. Eventually I gave up and put down paths in the main walk areas.

I only have walk way paths in my town. Everything else is natural. I don't really care for those towns completely covered in paths.

I can understand your dislike for your paths. My path is path with some grass in it, so it blends in with the spring and summer grass but looks bad in winter and fall. It's sad not being able to enjoy the game to its fullest in order to fulfill my town's aesthetic.

i agree, it was really depressing that i'd love my town so much in the spring and summer and then it'd get to the autumn and winter, where the best events were, and not even want to play. i missed 2 halloweens and christmases for it i believe. though i admire those who don't use grass and then their towns look good all year round, but i never wanted anything but a somewhat natural feel - hence why i had grass paths.

I get really tired of my paths and the fact that in some cases you landscape the entire town around it, so if you want to change it you're in for some major major work...

yeah all my pwp's were placed in accordance to paths, so i'm in the process of taking them all down and will have to re-place a lot, which sucks but i'm prepared to do it for the sake of just wanting to play.

this is probably my problem, i don't want to be fussy but i can't help it !! my town has absolutely no theme - but it bugs me. i think removing my paths helped with this problem though, i can't be fussy about something that isn't there.
