No one ever visits me

Sometimes I leave my gate open for hours and no one drops by. I really want active people on my friends list. Most of my friends are either completely inactive or don't play acnl much anymore. I'm usually on after 6:00pm (central time) because of school. I'd like to add people that can play at night or in the evenings. Preferably people that also talk because otherwise I feel awkward. ._. The only town rules are please don't steal or chop anything down. I am not going to follow people around. That's silly and takes the fun out of having guests imo.

I'm 23 but age doesn't matter. I've played with 13 yr olds that were more trustworthy and nicer than 20+ yr olds.
