So many people on other forums argue for the developers saying that since so many things aren't coded in the game, that it would not be possible for them to later down the line updated it.
Wrong! No Man Sky prove that update is base on whether the person in charge of the developing studios care enough to implement said update.
No Man Sky today is nothing like it was when it was release, in fact feel like a completely different game.
Now I highly doubt Nintendo would ever go NMS route but they can if they want to. They can add multiple new areas, cities, villages if they want to. They can break new ground for NH if they want to.
Will they? Probably not. Gaming Developers have no more excuse after what the team behind NMS pulled off and there NMS has a very small studio/team compare to Nintendo.
