please read the last few pages before posting anything so, someone visited my town and brought boone from their void. not only is he not a bear cub, but he destroyed my path too.

so, i had to time travel to get him out. i was doing it day by day, but boone caught a cold, so i figured i'd skip ahead to when he was all better.

i didn't take the other villagers into account. and one of them is gone.

pekoe is gone. i'm so stupid! i have to cycle everything out and i can't even have anyone hold pekoe for me because she's already gone!!!!

i want to cry, and i really want to reset my town. i probably won't, though. making important decisions when you're upset is a bad idea. still, this is one of the worst things to happen! at least when pudge moved i wasn't trying to fill my town with bear cubs. and when i decided i wanted him back, i'd already cycled out half the villagers i needed!

i was so scared the worst case scenario would happen, and it has. i never thought i would lose pekoe today...it's going to take forever to get her back...

i need to be calmed down. i know i'm not the first victim of this, so if it's happened to you, please tell me how you coped so i can feel just a bit better...

im so sorry you lost her :c I've had the same situation happen to me twice, but I did manage to get her back in the end. you'd have to do the 16 villager cycle, which is a pain to do but definitely not impossible or anything!

also, you may still be able to have someone hold her for you as she's in your void now. if you visit a town with nine villagers there's a pretty good chance they'll pick her up. you'd still have to cycle 16 villagers out before you could adopt her again, but at least that specific pekoe would be held somewhere for you. :')

Walker used to be one of my favorite villagers (right up there with Jeremiah, and anyone who has read my posts knows how much I love Jeremiah), and after not playing for a week, he was gone :O no ping, no nothing. I was really upset, but I'm definitely glad I didn't restart my town because I've since found villagers I like way more, and Walker is no longer a dreamie of mine. If Pekoe is still one of your favorites by the time you've cycled 16 other villagers, cycle her back in. But would say don't restart over losing one villager, because you'll have to work just as hard to get your dreamies in a new town as you will to cycle 16 to get Pekoe back in.

This happened to me as well but via Streetpass. It is so frustrating, especially when they destroy your paths and end up plotting in the worst possible area. I wanted to reset as well but well, getting angry won't solve anything, so I'll just wait until he decides to move out. I'm not talking to him at all, I'm ignoring him... There's nothing else I can do.

i'm so sorry to hear, it's always awful to lose a favorite villager :( when i lost purrl, i was absolutely crushed and didn't play for months. i didn't cycle her back, instead i got a new dreamie i always wanted but never had space for. i'm really excited to have willow in my town now, and i know i'll reunite with purrl in another game soon!

you can definitely get pekoe back if you work at it, i promise! the worst thing you could do in this scenario is restart your town, so you should hold onto it

best of luck cycling! i know you can do it, just take the game day by day and don't give up!!

Ouch! That happened to me once. Bonbon moved in from a friend on accident and I lost Eugene trying to push her out. :(

This happened to me. I lost two villagers I loved, and decided to start the 16 villager cycle to get them back, and lost two more in that process. I've been at it for a couple months now but I've already finished the cycle and I'm now plot resetting for my first lost villager to move back in c: It's hard work and not very fun, but you can get her back in not a lot of time if you keep at it.

i really want to keep cycling, but it'll take a lot of time, since i now have 6 permanent villagers. and i don't want to risk losing a bear cub again...but now that i know the mistake i made, i don't think it's likely.

i'm also not the biggest fan of time traveling, so that just makes the whole situation even worse...

I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through :( Just continue to cycle your villagers until you either reach 16, then get Pekoe back. Think of the positives also, though! While you are cycling, you may end up with a new cub moving in and maybe even one in your campsite. Who knows, by the time you fix all this you may end up with 10 cubs in your town :)

Have you tried bringing someone over to try and pick her up from your void? I lost Coco and Stitches to stupid tt accidents and my daughter was able to snag Stitches from my void. And I was able to get Coco from hers. You may be able to have a friend pick her up and hold ont her for you while you cycle. I'm so sorry you lost Pekoe :(

I'm so sorry this happened :( unfortunately when you get an a wanted villager move into the 10th spot, or even 9th I think, it was almost impossible to get them out :(
I've had scoot move into my town by accident before I even properly understood the void (although even with a 'clear' void it's not 100% certain you won't get one move in). He didn't fit my town at all. I had to tt and lose Zell in the process just so I could get him to move out.
I do understand :(
I really wouldn't reset if you can help it, I know it will take a while but if you still have 3 other dream spots available maybe just fill two and then the last two spots can be used to cycle now and then? So that you can get through 16 villagers.
I'm not sure how many bear cubs are in the game but is there another who could take her place if the thought of cycling so many villagers is too daunting?
I really hope you can sort it out, best of luck to you!!

This happened to me recently, but it didn't take long for me to find my lost villager (Beardo) because he was a tier 5/6 and I found him on the villager plaza for free (yay! thanx to the generous cycler!). I cycled also to try to get him in another town. It was kind of stressful, but I ended up getting some other super awesome villagers between my two towns in the process (cycling, adding) including Marshall, Julian, Fang, Freya, Flurry, and if I had more room I would have picked up the cute hamster Apple! Four of those dreamies came from the campsite! And I picked up Flurry from the plaza along with Beardo when he was finally in boxes in a cycling town. It only took a few days. I can't believe my luck. So, this could end up being a positive experience, though it's true that when TTing you might lose another. I did accidentally lose Drake doing all this cycling, whom I wanted to keep, but I bet I'll get him back someday too ^_^

I got off topic but I totally understand your feelings. When B left town I went a bit insane and started dedicating my whole town to him and putting his picture on everything, like all my furniture and walls/carpet, and land, and I built a lighthouse over his old plot. Yes, it's over the top, but I'll admit it. I just missed my favorite villager!

Have hope!

i moved in maple, but i'm still really bummed that i won't be able to get pekoe back for a while, since my town is almost completely bear cubs. i haven't had any luck moving out boone, either. i've been using this guide and i've gotten as far as a month ahead in time without any luck moving anyone out. does anyone who's used this guide know how many in-game days it usually takes...?

The 16 cycle seems like a horrible, painful long process but really it's not. Yeah TTing sucks especially when it's on your main file, but if they were a dreamie it's so worth it in the end.
I cycled out Peanut Filbert and Marshal because they were in horrible locations and it took me about 2 days until they were able to move back in. I lost 0 dreamies in the process (I had 5 in my town, cycling out the newest 2 villagers).

There's a couple guides out there on how to safely cycle without losing dreamies, and other guides on "rumors" when you are trying to move unwanted villagers out. If you're interested just vm me & I'll try to find the links. c:

Awh, I feel so bad. It's a pretty horrible feeling to have your dreamie leave but you'll get her back. I didn't lose any villagers but I purposely moved Skye, Whitney, and Freya out of my town because I'm a perfectionist. I also lost Lobo. It definitely seemed impossible and contemplated ever playing again. But, I took it one day at a time. Now I can move Lobo and Skye back in my town. Freya is in my town and I still have to cycle 15 villagers back to get Whitney. It's not impossible. It just takes time. So don't get frustrated. Just be patient and you'll get her back. Time flies. Now that I think back, it doesn't seem that long ago.

I TT everyday and talk to my villagers to see who's moving out. That's important. Talk to everyone every single day. Even on Holidays, Fishing Tournaments, etc. I look for villagers in their homes and talk to them until they tell me who is think of moving. If they don't tell me anything, I go to another villager and talk to them just to double check. I hope you'll feel better and resetting is the last thing you should do(well, you shouldn't reset). You'll be ok. Best of luck to you! ^^

thanks so much for the encouragement. so far i've only moved out two villagers, but neither of them were boone. i'll keep trying, though i have to get a new villager first before i'm able to move out any more.

oh my god, i can't believe myself...i traveled one day too far and i lost chester. my favorite bear cub, i'm on the verge of tears...but, since he didn't move out too long after pekoe, i guess i don't have to cycle that many more villagers. but this is almost traumatic. my town is a mess...i hope it'll work out in the end. i'm gonna have to cycle nonstop if i want to get them back.

I AM LITERALLY CRYING CHERI'S IN BOXES BECAUSE THE GUIDE SAID "no one's gonna move out within 4 days after a villager moves in" BUT THERE'S ISABELLE TELLING ME CHERI'S IN BOXES WHAT THE FXCK I MIGHT ACTUALLY RESET MY TOWN I AM SO FXCKING PISSED

THIS IS ALL THAT FXCKING GORILLA'S FAULT I HATE HIM I HATE HIM SO MUCH I LOST 3 BEAR CUBS BECAUSE OF HIM I HATE HIM I FXCKING HATE HIM
