NMT prices?

I’m looking to buy some NMT for island hopping but I’m not sure what a fair price would be either in TBT or IGB. Any advice on what a fair price would be?

usually there are a lot of exhange threads on nook's cranny. They go for about 1:1, which is a very good deal, considering some charge even more for NMT

1 NMT = 1 TBT. 1 NMT = / = 20k IGB though. The guide is a bit weird because the TBT : NMT rate is really low, while the TBT : IGB and IGB : NMT rates have stayed fairly stable. 1 NMT : 100-150k IGB is probably closer to the actual standard; I have yet to see anyone sell more than one or two tickets at 1 NMT : 20k IGB.

Yes. Also known as BTB, but (almost) nobody uses that acronym for some reason.

Agreed, but there's way too many people who have NMTs to sell off. I think that it might bounce back slightly (considering that there are very few people who are selling NMTs at 1:1 outright in comparison to a few weeks ago, and the fact that people are now making buying threads looking for 1:1 offers, rather than the other way around), but it is what it is.

You can use them to buy collectibles, or purchase in-game items from other users. Some shops / selling threads will only accept TBT as a currency (including my own).

I've bought NMTs with TBTs twice on here recently. The first time was 1:1; the other was two NMTs per TBT.
