Nintendo switch app not right?

I'm having an issue with the nintendo switch phone app.

I reset my NH town a couple of days ago and since then I can't get my new town on the app. So I can't use the keyboard chat function, get QR codes etc etc

I've tried reinstalling the app, signing out and back in again on my switch and clearing the cache but it still has my old town info on there and I'm not sure how to fix it.

I'm thinking there's probably a really simple solution here that I'm just missing, so I'm hoping someone can help me out!

Did you try reactivating it for your new town? Hitting -(?) on the home screen? Or messing with the settings on the app?
