Nintendo Online Issue!

Hi everyone! I recently restarted my island, but I noticed that my Nintendo online account (the app on my phone specifically) is still linked to my old island, and I don't know how to change that! Does anyone know what to do so I can continue using my Nintendo online app? I've already tried logging out and logging back in, and Nintendo online is working just fine in-game. The only issue is my external app. Thanks in advance for the help! <3

On your Nintendo Switch app, tap Animal Crossing and then go into Settings > Change players. You should be able to see the account for your old island and your new island

I tried that! I can only see the old island! :/

Launch Animal Crossing: New Horizons and when the title screen appears press (-) to access the settings. Select NookLink Settings. Select Connect to NookLink. Afterwards go to the Nintendo switch app and change players.
