Nintendo Games similar to...

I'm not sure if I'm asking this in the right place so sorry if I'm not!

I'm looking for a new 3DS game, something similar to animal crossing, The Sims, Virtual Villagers/Families, Nintendogs - that kind of thing. Where you have a little family/animals to look after.

I'm 19 so nothing intended for children (arguably a lot of those games are, but hopefully you know what I mean!)

Oh and not Tomodachi Life, I've looked at it and it's really not for me xD

Harvest Moon is pretty interesting and appeals to the same demographic as those other games. You take care of a farm.

You don't necessarily get to do much with your family, but you take care of animals, farm, mine, etc.

Also Rune Factory is really similar to Harvest Moon (I think they're actually Harvest Moon spinoffs...?) and I think Fantasy Life is a bit similar as well? I might buy Fantasy Life in the future

Yeah. RF is made by HM. They just put a battling system in with more or a story line.

I recommend Harvest Moon! A new HM for 3DS just came out yesterday, I haven't gotten it yet but I'm definitely going to.

Get harvest moon and fantasy life u will never be bored again.

For a harvest moon newcomer i would recomend ds cute or island of happiness, or if you enjoy fancy graphics then a new beginning for 3ds as well as story of seasons coming out next year.

Disney Magical World! It is now my favorite game!

There is 100 "stickers" to get to beat the game. You can get theses stickers by:
- Go on guest and use your magic to defeat ghost in different worlds. You have Pooh's, Aladdin's, Alice's, and Cinderella's world. If you purchase it, you also get Pirates of the Caribbean's world (it only cost $4.00).
- By doing these guest you get materials to buy clothing (really cute disney clothes), furniture, food, and wands.
- You run a cafe (which is where the furniture, and food come in handy).
- You get pictures with all kinds of disney characters.
- Go fishing.
- Collect Disney character cards.
- And more.

If you like Disney just look the game up and see if it seems interesting to you.

Definitely recommend Harvest Moon: A New Beginning (superb customization, sort of a dating sim element, take care of farm animals and pets etc but beware the extremely long introduction/tutorial). However you might have a bit of a learning curve if you've never played a game in the series before.
Disney Magical World and Fantasy Life also sound like they might be to your taste, although I haven't played either yet personally.

I say Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times. It's for the DS and you'll probably get the best price on it from Amazon buying it used. It's pretty much like Animal Crossing, except you're going to wizard school and learning magic
