E3 2012 is just three weeks away so... fire off your predictions for Nintendo's showing at E3! Here's mine... Yes, it's really long. You should read it though because it's very thoughtful. I even included the studios that would be working on each of these!

Nintendo games to be shown at E3 2012

Wii U

- Pikmin 3 (EAD No.4, 2012/Launch)
Already confirmed for Wii U. This is one of the only titles that could possibly be ready for a launch release date.
- New Super Mario Bros. Mii (EAD, 2012/Launch)
We saw this at last year?s E3. Sure, they said it was just a prototype at last E3 but I don?t believe it. It?s definitely going to be a real game.
- Wii U Play/Sports (EAD No.2, 2012/Launch)
Either a Wii Play or a Wii Sports esque game has to be coming for launch. Plus Animal Crossing 3DS has been taking forever so it wouldn?t surprise me if EAD No.2 is working on something else like this.
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Grezzo, 2012/Launch Window)
Grezzo did an amazing job at doing the improved 3D port of Ocarnia of Time on the 3DS so I think a Wind Waker HD port for the Wii U would be a great fit. Also the release date is definitely possible as their last release was June 2011. Plus Wind Waker HD is a wet dream of mine.
- Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 HD (EAD Tokyo 1., 2013)
Why not? They look beautiful in 1080p on the Dolphin emulator. It?s perfect.
- New Original IP from Retro Studios (Retro Studios, 2013)
Oh yes. I?m going to be THAT guy who talks about Retro Studios. Aside from helping with some Mario Kart 7 levels they have been radio silent since the release of Donkey Kong Country Returns in 2010. Now?s the time to show off what they?ve been working on for the Wii U. It?s the perfect project to get people hyped up for 2013?s Wii U software.

3DS

- New Super Mario Bros. 2 (EAD No.4, 2012)
Confirmed by the last Nintendo Direct.
- Luigi's Mansion 2 (Next Level Games, 2012)
This was supposed to be early 2012 so there?s no way it?s getting pushed back to 2013 now.
- Animal Crossing 3DS (EAD No.2, 2012)
Confirmed by the last Nintendo Direct.
- Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle (Level-5, 2012)
Yes, I know Level5 isn?t Nintendo, but in regions other than Japan Nintendo publishes Professor Layton titles. I am extremely confident that this will come out in 2012.
- Fire Emblem: Awakening (Intelligent Systems, 2012)
Like Professor Layton this is another game that is already released and just needs to be localized for America.
- Paper Mario 3DS (Intelligent Systems, 2013)
Intelligent Systems just released Fire Emblem and DLC is still be produced for that so it wouldn?t surprise me if they needed more time for Paper Mario.
- Metroid Prime Hunters 2 (NST, 2013)
Complete guess on my part. It?s kind of a personal dream I?m not very confident that it will actually happen. I loved the first one a lot and it would fit nicely on the 3DS. Also, it?s about time NST worked on something other than being a slave at working on Mario vs Donkey Kong games and DSiWare clocks... Sigh.
- The Legend of Zelda: 3DS (EAD No.3, 2013)
The DS Zelda games were great and they probably need something smaller to be working on after the monster that was Skyward Sword.

In production but no presence at E3 2012

Wii U

- Wii Fit U (EAD No.1, 2013)
I?m basing this one off the obvious use of the Wii U controller for Wii Fit and the fact that EAD No.1 probably needs something smaller to work on than another Mario Kart right away!
- Super Smash Bros. (Project Sora, 2014)
Already confirmed not even really a prediction. I?m extremely confident in the release date as well.
- Super Mario 4 (EAD Tokyo, 2014)
HD Mario. Of course it?s going to happen. We?re all waiting for it. I don?t think they?ve had enough time to produce something to show at E3 this year.
- Mario Party 10 (Nd Cube, 2013)
Mario Party 9 was a successful reboot for the series so why not see what can be done with the Wii U? I can taste those Wii Motion Plus controls all the way from Canada...
- The Legend of Zelda: Wii U (EAD, 2015)
This is so far away it?s criminal to even mention it in here but someone will bring it up if I don?t.
- Chibi-Robo! Wii U (Skip Ltd, 2014)
Okay. I admit it. I just want this to happen, I don?t think it actually will.

3DS

- Super Smash Bros. (Project Sora, 2014)
Already confirmed not even really a prediction. I?m extremely confident in the release date as well.
- The next Pokemon game (Gamefreak, 2014)
Not much to say...

So happy you made this!

Hoping for some Zelda WW for WiiU or MM

Interesting, I can't wait for Animal Crossing 3DS, Paper Mario 3DS, Luigi's Mansion 2, and the WiiU to be releashed. Wonder if we might get to see the rumored F-Zero and Star Fox WiiU titles, and a remake of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

Besides wishing for some more information on Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, I'm also interested in the Kirby Collection and what exactly is inside it.

i want some BW2 info too, but i kinda doubt it

I'm Looking forward to every little thing they'll be showing off. But most of all JUMP OUT!

Is anyone actually legit looking forward to the WiiU?
I mean yes, i'm excited for it, but i care about AC3DS more.
Does anyone care more about the WiiU?

Yes actually. Mostly because the Wii U means this:

You don't understand how much I'm looking forward to Pikmin 3. It's been 8 years since Pikmin 2. I'm also really excited to see how Nintendo handles all their franchises in HD finally. It's going to be a great E3.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm looking forward to Animal Crossing a lot. How could I not?

WHY DOES EVERYONE LOVE PIKMIN?

ISN'T IT THE WORSE GAME EVER!!??

Nothing, i think they're cute. But everyone seems to think it's crap.
I've never actually played it, but they're cute.

THAT IS ALL

Hopefully they release some kind of demo for it so i can test it out

Just saying...

It's an RTS by the way so if you don't like those...

I'm actually pretty sure my brother rented out the GC version once, but i never played it

Bidoof, find a gamecube and play Pikmin 2. It's really cute and you won't regret it. You basically go around these areas with your pikmin and look for "treasure" to pay off your debt. The treasure is basically anything we, as humans, find useless or don't really think about.
I will totally buy a WiiU if it means I can play Pikmin 3!

Actually, I'm more exited for the Wii U than anything else. Although I'm like the biggest animal crossing fan I'm more interested to see what the Wii U can Du.

GC games are impossible to find here.

I'll just pray they release a demo

I'm iffy on the Wii U. Nintendo really has to prove themselves with it, I'm not sure how much longer I can grab one of their consoles and not feel extremely letdown in the months following. Wii pretty much collected dust after Galaxy 2, gotten some play time recently thanks to Xenoblade.

As for Pikmin, I can't say I was a fan of the first. But I played it a long time ago, so I'm open to trying it again. And Pikmin 2 Wii is coming out soon too, so I might just pick that up as I heard its better.

- New Original IP from Retro Studios (Retro Studios, 2013)

Wow, I hope you're right. I love Nintendo sequels as much as anyone, but I would love to see something completely new, especially from Retro. I'm not holding my breath though.

You and me both... I really do think it will happen though. They probably realize by now that gamers want some new franchises from them and to get Retro Studios to work on that seems like a perfect fit.

Sidenote: I checked out your YouTube channel and AC blogs in your signature... I love it! Bookmarked!
