If he pings to move and I'm ready to let him go I'd definitely consider selling since I know I could get a lot of bells for him most likely

nah, this happened to me with marshal. i'm trying to get to 100 million bells so i can do a big giveaway thing.

i know a lot of people love julian, so i hope you find a good buyer once he's in boxes!!

Nice! Some tips if you do sell him: try to keep him as original as possible. I know a lot of buyers (myself included) that prefer it when a villager has their original layout in their home, or at least a similar layout to their original. Also having their catchphrase be original is also a nice bonus. These things aren't required obviously and I'm sure you'll still be able to sell him even if he doesn't have his catchphrase the same as when he moved in, or his house 100% perfect. But it might make it easier on the future buyer. I've bought some animals were their homes were completely messed up and they were wearing those default patterns from Able Sister's, and it's just a pain to make their homes halfway decent. Anyways, I hope you enjoy having him in your town!

I haven't fully decided if I plan on selling him yet but thanks for the tips!!

I'll definitely keep him around for at least a little while since I do like him, I just don't know if I'd really want him as a permanent resident lol,, my favorite smug is Phil, who has been a random move-in in 2 of my towns so I'm kinda low-key waiting for him to show up again
