New Villagers? (Via the update)???!?!?!

So, I cannot find images of the new villagers ANYWHERE. And there are supposedly 50 of them? Could anyone either give me a link or show me where to find these pictures?? I scoured google, and found nothing and also I looked through the update stickie and couldn't find it.

Am I the only one that thinks that with exception of the elephant all the rest(out of the ones we know for certain will be available) are ugly??? Not trying to be mean but if I am going to spend any money or even bother to get the update they should have a certain amount of cuteness factor in these new villagers. The ape I think is the worst.

I'm not massively keen on any I've seen so far either. I'm hoping there will be a peppy deer. Also not sure I'm going to be interested in the splatoon characters. I'm holding off buying more cards until I've seen the rest of the new villagers

Honestly, I'm not very interested in the new villagers. I heard Vanessa is coming back, which I think might be the best but she's not even new. The Hello Kitty themed villagers are way too cute and I have to agree the gorilla is the worst by far... Some find her cute though? The Callie and Marie villagers should've been squids tbh but I suppose they like the high demand for octopi so made them squirrels. Most seem very O.T.T.

Overall, not very excited for the update purely for the fact I've lost my amiibo cards, lol

I don't care much about splatoon because I never got into it but my son did and I know he will probably want at least some of the new stuff. He has HHD so already has a ton of ambiibo cards but anything new that comes out he wants usually.
I was kinda hoping that some of the new villagers would be the NPC ones. Those I would definitely buy the amiibos, get a new cartridge and spend good money on. But there is no indication of that happening. I got excited for all of 5 minutes before I saw the first 6 or so they were introducing. It was kind of a let down to see only one so far to me personally is interesting and has that cuteness factor. It doesn't matter what their tier would be I just like certain kinds of villagers to look a certain way.

Umm... I was expecting the actual Hello Kitty character to be a kitty, a cat. Or at least something cute..er.

I just checked out all of the villagers in some gameplay and I have to say that the upcoming deer and there's a white-pastel elephant with a literal teacup on their head which is adorable. So I take back what I said about not being excited.

I'm REALLY EXCITED NOW! Some villagers are quite cute lolol

I'm not super excited about any of the anounced ones so far either. The Elephant is cute, but Tia is similar and way cuter. For some reason I kind of like the sheep, which is weird for me because I'm not usually too crazy about the sheep.
