New town - Pixelton

I've resest my town about 4 times? Mostly because I could never decide on a map or a theme. I'd play for about a month and give up.
I'm pretty happy with my town now, though, and I have no plans on resetting.
Good luck with your new town! ^^

I'm glad you're happy with your current town, and thank you! =]

I've reset my town once before because Sparro moved out and I didn't know about the 16 villager cycle and I couldn't bring myself to replace him.

I resetted my town once, back in Feb this year. I did it because I just had too many void and street pass move ins that plotted right on things I had spent a lot of time growing trees/bamboos and hybrids. This was before I knew of growing flowers on the beach and plot-resetting. I lost a lot of good villagers in that town too, which only opened up a new spot for another streetpass/void move in. It was a vicious circle. With my new town I have learned how to plot reset, so that the villagers doesn't go on top of any projects and I'm also very careful about streetpassing and void-visitors :D
It felt really nice resetting too! Though I did take with me my full set of kiddie furniture and the bells I had, as I didn't want to start all over from scratch since I had gotten so far in my old town.

Once.
But I hated that town cause I TTed.
This town I don't TT

I used to TT in my old town too, it's not why I reset but I don't plan on doing it in my new one. It does feel like cheating and I hate losing villagers.

I'm glad your new town is better! It's funny actually, part of my decision to reset was caused by me resetting. I was becoming way too strict with my town and it just wasn't fun anymore because of it. But before I got lazy with it, my town did look nice with all the carefully placed houses.

Awwie, you have Bob in your town <3 I had him in my GameCube animal crossing. He's pretty rad.

Yeah, this is the first time I've had him too. He seems awesome, and I really like his design. I love all my current villagers. =]

Yep! I got the game in March this year, played until July and then reset on July 31! The reason I reset was kind of strange, but it was because it really bugged me that my villagers would talk about all of the visitors I'd had over/people who'd been to my dream town/previous owners. Basically I wanted to start from scratch and have a really private town that no one else could see (I was also sick of hearing constant criticism from people who'd been over). This time I decided to get villagers that fit a certain theme (wintery animals) and I absolutely love it so far!

I definitely used the site to get bells, complete the museum again, get unorderables etc. and found that it wasn't actually all that overwhelming to do it all over again with all the help. Good luck with your reset!
