Splatoon New Stuff on the Way!

So aside from the pre-slip of the new map thanks to splatnet, the direct gave us a small video of what's coming.

I have to say, I'm in love with some of the gear. Looks like I'm holding off designing some new Squid oc's until this new gear is out. XD Ah, but that's fine. I was running out of gear to use that I liked. XDDD

What are you're thoughts?

EDIT: Watching through the whole splatoon section of the direct, some more info can be revealed.

The gear update is either today or tomorrow, releasing pretty much the same time as the new map. And updates are going to keep coming until January at the very least which will include more stages, gear and gameplay adjustments for balance.

40+ new gear and 2 new maps confirmed in the Nintendo Direct. And of course the gear is today, while the Museum map is tomorrow.

So excited I was able to forgive Bill for eating all those donuts.

I've been hoping that single player elements would be added to multiplayer maps for so long, like moving platforms, quirky inkline transportation, and the like, and now we finally have at least one!

I can't wait to see what they do with future maps.
