Can you see if you have any houses in your showcase from the access area? I keep checking inside the three wings if I have anything, so it would be great to know if that's really necessary.

I got him as well. No idea who he is and his house isn't exactly top notch... I did however get to finally get my library wall and some more sleek furniture haha.

Sour of Hanoi: If you get the green- or blue-flashing notification (blue for spotpass specifically) while your 3DS is in sleep mode, then check to see if the colored dot icon is on your ACNL game icon. If it is, open the game and go right to your showcase. The only people standing in your courtyard/greeting area should be the most recent streetpassers or spotpassers. Check regularly so you don't end up getting too many new houses so that not all of the people show up in the courtyard. When you speak to the corresponding person, they'll tell you their showcase address.

Oh, getting too many isn't an issue. I haven't got a single one and I don't foresee any crowding in that area.

Check your spotpass settings and make sure they are on. You can do it on the welcome screen.

Sometimes you have to update the game to get a new spotpass, I know a friend of mine had to do that to get the last house. I think it's on the first screen? She had spotpass on and her wifi was fine, but the house didn't show up until she did that. Worth a try!

I got him. His house wasn't that special so I won't be marking it as a favorite. I did manage to find some cool things to order from his house but for some reason his stained-glass lamp isn't orderable? And I need that..

I haven't got him yet either and all my spotpass settings are turned on. Maybe it's just for people in USA or something?
