New kinds of villagers you'd like to see?

Imagine.

Shark villagers, Dragon villagers (more like Western Dragons, instead of the ones like Drago), more reptile villagers in general actually.

Maybe ones like NPCs, but different, like Owls, Hedgehogs, or Skunks.

It doesn't even have to be animals, we have food villagers too. Maybe an alien themed villager shaped like an octopus, for instance.

Also, owls that only come out at night. Maybe other nocturnal animals such as bats.

Would be interested in moles, and seals if the design is cute.

I would definitely like to see villagers made from the models Nintendo has already used for main characters. Owls, Weasels/Otters, Raccoons, Giraffes, Porcupines/Hedgehogs, etc. Nintendo already has most of what they need imo, but they just haven't or won't add villager versions of these animals. I feel that for them, it'd be kinda easy.

I'd also like bats. I've seen many, many, people say they want bats. So do I.

Bats are my favorite animal. I'd absolutely love for them to be added into the game, as the two above said. Nocturnal animals would be AWESOME!

I think that rather than focusing on adding new kinds of animals, however, I'd like it better if they made more variance between animals of the same species beyond just a different texture. More in-depth clothing and some personality-related appearance changes would really make the difference for me. Imagine if the jocks were all really buff, lol.
Rather than slap more characters into the game, I'd like them to add more 'personality' to existing kinds, if that makes sense. ^^

Count me in as another person who wants bat villagers!

I wouldn't mind seeing owls as well, especially a barn owl. Also, doves and pigeons. The game might be overloaded with birds though :c I'd want the doves to have a new model since I'm not a huge fan of the regular bird villagers. As I was typing this I remembered Brewster - what I had in mind looked a little more like Pidove, the Pokemon.

What I want most, though, is a cute opossum villager. The can use the mouse model for her, I don't care. Just give me a cute opossum.

Also: not a villager type, but cuttlefish as an ocean fish.

I would love a fox villager! The only one we have is Redd. But I think the most likely thing that they'll do is to make a wolf villager then have their coloration like a fox.

Also more marine based animals would be pretty cool. I cant honestly picture most of them looking nice, but it'll still be cool either way lol. Just imagine, a fish villager walking in your town.

I agree they need more diverse personalities, also imagine alpaca villagers like Reese and Cyrus!
I think it would be cool if they had a black wolf villager. They already have a decent amount of wolves but more wouldn't hurt

I'd love fox villagers as long as they were made to be sufficiently different from wolves (I know some people always thought Chief was a fox). Guinea pig villagers would go brilliant alongside hamsters raccoon, owls....they wouldn't be difficult to come up with since they have the model there already. Lizards or iguanas? Dinosaurs? Tucker is supposed to be a mammoth I think so I can't see why dinosaurs should be ruled out necessarily. Bats would be pretty cool too, and dragons

I want bats that are mostly Uchi and Cranky villagers (since most bats are nocturnal and Cranky/Uchi villagers stay up really late and wake up late morning), a flying squirrel squirrel villager, and more dragons. A red panda might be an NPC or a villager species but I hope for the latter since red pandas are so cute.
