What the hell? I'm in the same situation as you, Miranda, my birthday is July 9th and I'm a true Cancer. Katrina even says (in one of the games, I forgot which) something like "Cancer is the traveler of many twisted paths", which exactly defines me.

Either way, I regard horoscopes and astrology as one of the lowest forms of metaphysical hackery.

Things like Chinese zodiac, or astrological signs have always intrigued me.

EXACTLY what was going through my head. At first I was really mad, because my friend Hannah (April 10) told me about it, saying she was a Pisces, and so of course I was like "OMGWTF You can't steal my sun sign" but then she showed me some article about how now I'm an AQUARIUS. And the length of the time periods are ridiculous, too. The new Libra supposedly goes from September 16-October 30, which means it's over a month in length. And Scorpio is A WEEK long! A WEEK!

Then I heard it only applies to people born in/after 2009...
Yeah, I'm not the type to bottle up my emotions or any of that "Pisces" stuff but still. WTF!
