My other new favourite feature is being able to decorate rooms for visitors. I don't have the Happy Home Paradise DLC, so I miss on a lot of decorating fun, and the hotel is filling that gap in the game

One of my favorite features from the new update is that I can put flowers into storage now! I had random flower patches all over my island that I gladly got rid of, but I also had this one garden area to preserve a pair of each hybrid color in case I ever wanted to breed more of them. It was taking up a lot of space, and I never actually used those flowers, so I'm really happy to finally be able to turn this area into something else.

My favorite part of Version 3.0 so far is the megaphone! It's a good way to locate villagers if you're looking for a specific one. I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of this big, awesome update!

Kamogawa invited their first hotel guest, Cranston! He looks thrilled to stay in my newly decorated room. Really excited to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons again after a long hiatus.

The kitchen too! It's temporary... in New Leaf I put my tent next to Town Hall because I didn't feel like running all over the place, I regretted it later...

I legit thought it was added to the pier after you do so many crafting stuff, not that people were placing their work bench there themselves XD

My work bench isn't too far, so I may not put mine there. Just so I am exploring my island more. Seeing it more.
Can put surfboards there or something instead.

Here is my second (non-)entry!

Something I'm enjoying is seeing the ways that the tourists wear Majora's Mask! I was just being silly with the tourist outfits, but it was funny to have Drift looking at me from far away, regardless of which direction he was travelling! I'm also just enjoying the overall experience of playing with the tourist outfits. It's so cute to see them dressed up.

I finally had the chance to visit the Hotel and even made two rooms. I was amused you had a choice for the second room's theme and I went ahead to choose the Japanese theme instead of the Modern one

I got a chance to start crafting in the 3.0 update and man, it is so much better to craft multiple things at once with materials pulled from storage! This is gonna help me reach my crafting goals so much quicker!

I love the new jumpy/side step mechanic which makes it sooo much easier to landscape/terraform/water/shovel etc in big batches! This will make so many chores so much easier and less frustrating, it makes me wanna pick up the game more often already. And in the slumber islands it really helps to!

Also just noticed now that the hotel icon is visible on the map, so cute!

I’m cycler on my secondary island/switch (I help other members get their dreamies by cycling my Amiibo cards in and out). So basically I craft a lot. It takes crafting 3 items to move a villager in and another 3 to get them in boxes for someone to come pickup. It was so annoying having to take what I needed out of storage every time I wanted to craft something. It’s game changing now that I can craft with all my materials still inside my storage.

My favorite thing about the update is like others have mentioned, the update itself but also like that I am able to build on the pier. I setup a surf shop with boards, shoes and wetsuit.
