I am trying to figure out what my New Horizons island name will be. In earlier games I had Narnia, Italy, and Paris. In New Leaf I named my town Teaville (my irl name is Tori, and since my name starts with T I thought of T-Ville, but spelled as Teaville to be more aesthetically pleasing). I really like that name for New Leaf. I thought about making my island Teaville again, but that sounds more village/townish and not like an island name. My goal for the island is to have a suburban and urban area where the houses and shops will be, most likely (still figuring out the planning side). I love the idea of potentially having Tea in the name, but I want a more islandish vibe.

What ideas do y'all have? One idea is Tea-Breeze, but I am still trying to decide if I want to go that route or a different name.

I've thought of Hawaii or already existing names, but I don't want to use geographical locations or existing places this time around.

I'd be grateful for any ideas y'all can come up with or help me come up with! :D

Since you’ve used some real locations in the past, you could always go for an Island pun with Tahitea ^^

Tea Cove / Teacove
Tea Bay / Teabay
Tea Creek / Teacreek
Toritearium
Tea Lagoon / Tealagoon
Tea Fiord / Teafiord
Teatide (pun on Seaside)

You could also substitute Tea for Pekoe (or Teakoe), it definitely sounds more like an island name.

Teaki <insert follow up here> Creek, Cove, Bay, Tide, Town, etc etc.

Teaki has a great island vibe.

With 10 character confirmed it will now be harder to narrow it down B)

I haven't decided yet. At least I still have plenty of time to think about it.

Though now that we can have fossils outside, I really hope somebody names their island after Jurassic Park's Isla Nublar and makes a cool Jurassic Park themed island.

Sorry for the late response, I really appreciate all of the ideas! Definitely gives me something to think about over the next week!

Thanks!! :D
